BlockAvoid was a website/resource for bypassing school and corporate web content filters, such as Websense.

It was a half finished project that brought together information from various user suggestions and googling trips and presented the whole lot to make life easier for someone to look at blocked (yet often perfectly appropriate and not obscene) content.

The website served a dual purpose, as I used the aggregated information to harden the content filter at my school during my IT Administrator days in 6th year.

Naturally, maintenance and development ended when I left for University and had no further use for it. I felt that the most responsible thing to do was to take the site down and I have no plans to resurrect it.
